Energy from the sky
Solar electricity is generated using PV (Photovoltaic) cells
Made from layers of semi-conducting material, usually silicon, enclosed in a glass or plastic casing.

Solar PV panels take no more than a maximum of three days for installation and will usually be up and running within a few hours.

How does a solar PV system work?
- The panels convert sunlight into DC electricity
- This is then passed through an Inverter so it is AC electricity
- The AC electricity then travels through a meter to record the amount of Kilowatts it has produced
- Then it travels into the existing AC Installation, where it can be used if needed or exported back to the national grid
